Trying to Stay Relevant
A report came out this morning on the non-binding declaration from the United Nations decriminalizing acts of homosexuality. (For the full story click here.) Now, let’s set this straight…uh pun slightly intended… Average Joe Citizen, its auxillaries and the myriads of followers out there do not wish harm to come to anyone on the basis of a Sexual Deviation. Let the harm come from the results of their character (or lack of it) and the actions they have perpetrated against their fellowman… or woman… Homosexual or Straight.
That being said, and fully supported by the board of directors of AJC (ratified in open congress of it’s shareholders as well) Average Joe Citizen thinks that the United Nations, although not a direct tool of the devil, seems to be a willing co-conspirator in the denegration of the United States of America, which soon enough will be renamed the United Socialist States of America, the newly branded USSA.
In this article, from the AP Obama News Bureau’s David Crary, the US has ‘balked’ at being a signatory on this piece of garbage waste of time… er rather this UN NON-BINDING Declaration. “In all, 66 of the U.N.’s 192 member countries signed the nonbinding declaration — which backers called a historic step to push the General Assembly to deal more forthrightly with any-gay discrimination. More than 70 U.N. members outlaw homosexuality, and in several of them homosexual acts can be punished by execution.”
There are several issues on this… first of all only 66 of 192?…. that is hardly a majority of their members, if the UN is so powerful couldn’t they have strong-armed more to sign this drivel?
“Co-sponsored by France and the Netherlands,…” Both countries are stalwarts for virtue and character aren’t they? “…the declaration was signed by all 27 European Union members, as well as Japan, Australia, Mexico and three dozen other countries. There was broad opposition from Muslim nations, and the United States refused to sign, indicating that some parts of the declaration raised legal questions that needed further review.” Oh and the Vatican is against this vomit as well… another thing Muslims and Christians have in common!
Another point to be made here, the article states, “It’s disappointing,” said Rama Yade, France’s human rights minister, of the U.S. position — which she described as in contradiction with America’s long tradition as a defender of human rights.” You are darn right that we in America are the defenders of human rights! No other Nation has bent over (several times) in the name of humane treatment to be kicked in the face time and again. Why does one particular segment of the population, which WORLDWIDE could not make up even 1% of the earth’s population be singled out in such a manner? It’s all political!
Not to mention that we have a form of government here that, as John Qunicy Adams states, “The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one INDISSOLUBLE BOND the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.” To solely protect under the banner of the Gays and Lesbians Rainbow Flag would be a breakdown of our form of government, as well as a severing of States rights that from the article, ” U.S. officials expressed concern in private talks that some parts of the declaration might be problematic in committing the federal government on matters that fall under state jurisdiction.” Thankfully we still has some sense of modecum of the rights each state has in our union.
Again the United Nations is showing it’s irrelevance, partisanship and it’s willing ignorance to what really matters on the world stage! There are many more worthy causes who freaking France and the Netherlands could be standing behind with such as this non-defunct, wipe-my-horse’s-arse, waste of paper that its printed on, pile of hooey. The plight of other world populations, who make up more than the .05% the Gays make up, could surely be of more value.
What about the genocide and the ethnic cleansing being done in Zimbabwe and in the Sudan? No news about that Declaration is there? How about the plight of the Romany peoples, better known as the gypsies. More of this ethnic group covers Europe than Gays could ever try; more of them were killed than the Jews were in the Holocost of WWII. More discrimination on a daily basis happens to them on the basis of their skin color and modes of their society than could ever be perpetrated upon Mr. and Mr. Limpwrist. Where is the non-binding declaration for them?
The Marketing of Evil is underway in the most corruptable halls known to mankind, that of the ever-erring United Nations!
