Does bleach kill mold? Should I use it?

Not as a routine practice. Authorities caution that bleach/biocides aren’t generally recommended as the default approach for mold cleanup, and they’re especially unreliable on porous materials. Also: never mix bleach with ammonia or other cleaners.
